About The Art Explorers Club:
The Original Perkasie Area Explorers Club!
The Art Explorers Club is one of our programs specifically designed for kids ages 3 - 5. Our art and STEM-based enrichment activities help nurture creativity, fine motor development, brain development, and social skills, while having fun!
Our studio space is built for fun exploration and supportive discovery—no pressure to "perform". We create and learn with curiosity first. Techniques come later.
Colorful and Creative Art Explorations!
We strongly believe in nurturing creativity and curiosity in every child. Our creative learning studios offer unique hands-on learning opportunities that we call "Explorations" that are student-led, teacher-guided, and specifically designed to encourage inquiry,self-expression and social skills through play, storytelling, art making, and STEM activities.
Who We Are
The Art Explorers Club is a division of The Art Oasis, based in Perkasie, Upper Bucks County PA. Our kids' classes are facilitated by a mother-and-daughter team who, between them, have over 30 years of child development experience. We would love to meet you and your child at our next creative exploration! Check out our current classes here
* Our creative studios are located inside St Matthew's Lutheran Church - 3668 Ridge Rd, Perkasie, PA. Our space is cozy, and seats are limited, so please register early!
Our Approach
In The Art Explorers Club, we believe that artmaking is about more than skill - it's about fun first! It's a simple tool for self-expression, creativity, and exploration of the world around us.
Our approach is easy-going and centered on the interests, skills, and needs of each child. We strive to create fun and supportive studio spaces that encourage exploration, artistic expression, social connection, and creative, innovative thinking.
FUN Fridays Paint & Play! (Family Create-Together)!
Our Fun Fridays are our Family-centered drop-in "create together" Art Days! Come and create with us on select FRIDAYS: 10 - 11:45 AM and 12:45 - 2:30 PM
Parents, grandparents or caregivers can spend some creative time with your pre- schooler and other new friends. We lead you through a different adventure each session that includes story time, art, social time, and other fun surprises!
Our studio and projects are best suited for children ages 3 and up. Younger siblings are welcome to join us and will need to be supervised carefully as there are materials, games, and items in the room with small parts. Older siblings are also welcome to join us! Spots are limited to prevent overcrowding, so be sure to pre-register today!

The Art Explorers Club - Fall Session!
Autumn Adventures Await!

Come join us for six weeks of seasonal storytelling and hands-on creativity designed for children ages 3–6 and parent/grandparent/caregiver. Fridays (Morning Session or Afternoon session)- Sept 26 - Oct 31 - Kicking off with a Fun Friday (Sept 26)
Each week, we’ll explore the wonders of fall—colorful leaves, cozy harvests, and playful forest friends—through imaginative tales and open-ended art projects. With nature walks, sensory-rich materials, and plenty of room for self-expression, this session invites Explorers to discover, create, and celebrate the magic of autumn!
We've recently expanded into the adjoining room and have added 30 minutes of additional time to this class to allow exploration of our STEM Studio at the end of class: (Camping tent, play kitchen, dress-up costumes, book nook, grocery store, train table, construction zone, educational games, "planetarium", and more). This is optional and included in your tuition pricing.)

Our small-group, creative enrichment program for preschoolers is hands-on, screen-free, educational, and fun!! Come join us in celebrating and learning about our Winter themes. *12 weeks: Jan 5 - March 26. 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Halloween Slime Party! (Family Event)
Come and join us for some colorful and (not too) spooky Halloween fun for preschoolers age 3 and up and their grown-up (mom, dad, grandparent, or caregiver)! (Younger siblings are welcome but must be carefully supervised.)
We will read a story, make some fall crafts, mix up our own spooky slime, and make some new friends! All supplies are included.
Light refreshments/bagged popcorn snacks will be served. (No candy). Costumes are welcome - or come as you are! We hope to see you there!

Handmade Holidays (3-Week Creative Camp)
Where Tiny Hands Craft Big Holiday Joy!

Step into a season of creativity, coziness, and wonder with our holiday camp for preschoolers ages 3–6. In this festive, hands-on program, little makers will explore holiday traditions through paint, clay, collage, and more as they create heartfelt gifts, whimsical decorations, and keepsakes to treasure. Each day blends art, storytelling, and playful exploration in a fun, inclusive atmosphere—celebrating the magic of the season in a variety of forms.
Camp runs Dec 1 - Dec 19 - Mon & Wed OR Tues &Thurs
AM session: 9:30 AM - 12:00 NOON
PM session: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Join us for a 6-week guided drawing/painting adventure, where young artists will explore our world using a simple process based on the Monart Drawing Method, which breaks down drawings into easy-to-follow elements. Our art-based Explorer's Club and Play-based Bright SPARKS program, (coming fall of 2025) are led by Miss Lauren (an experienced preschool teacher & tutor with more than 10 years of experience) and Miss Barb (Former homeschool mom, preschool classroom assistant, author & recreational programming designer/coordinator).
Our enrichment programs provide a warm and supportive environment for both you and your child to bond, express your creativity, and explore our world together while promoting their important developmental milestones!
